The restored Rose Window in the Eldridge Street Synagogue
SYNAGOGUE TOURS
Immerse yourself in Jewish history and culture at the newly restored Eldridge Street Synagogue. Tours tell the story of this 1887 National Historic Landmark – the spiritual center of Jewish life on the Lower East Side – and the vibrant immigrant community that built it.

Hours
Sundays-Thursdays from 10am to 4pm
Tours are on the half-hour. The last tour begins at 3pm.

On June 9 & June 10 we will be closed for Shavuot.

The Synagogue is closed to the public on the following Jewish & major national holidays:

Passover (April 20-21, 26-27)

Memorial Day (Sunday & Monday)

Independence Day (July 4)

Labor Day Weekend (Sunday, August 31 & Monday, September 1)

Rosh Hashanah (September 30 & October 1)

Yom Kippur (October 9)

Sukkot (October 14-15, October 21-22)

Thanksgiving (November 27)

Tickets
Purchase your ticket at the Museum’s gift shop on the day of your visit. Advance reservations are required for groups of 10 or more.

Adults: $10
Students and senior: $8
Children 5-18: $6
Members & Children under 5: Free for members and children under 5 years of age.

Group Visits
Due to space limitations, we require reservations for groups of 10 or more.
K-12 students or confirmation classes, please visit the school programs page for more information.
