Special Opportunities
HONOR & MEMORY GIFTS
Make a gift of $54 or more in honor or memory of someone or to mark a special occasion. We will send an “In Memory” or “In Honor” card to your designee informing them of your thoughtful gift.
TRIBUTE WALL DEDICATIONS
Honor or memorialize your loved ones, or celebrate a special occasion such as a marriage, graduation, birth of child, or other mitzvah with a permanent plaque on our Tribute Wall. These opportunities are available until the Tribute Wall is full, and dedications are affixed in the order in which they are received.

PEW DEDICATIONS
Looking for a special opportunity to memorialize or honor loved ones, or to celebrate a graduation, marriage, birth of child, anniversary, or other special occasion? The Museum offers a limited number of permanent plaques to be affixed to the Museum’s historic pews on the sanctuary and balcony levels.
These dedications begin at $5,000 on the Balcony Level and $10,000 – $25,000 on the Sanctuary Level. Payment plans are available. Pew plaque donations are fully tax-deductible.
IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER CONTRIBUTIONS
You may use your traditional IRA as a simple way to make your charitable gift to the Museum at Eldridge Street and reduce your tax liability.
If you are age 70 1/2 or older, you may donate all or a portion of your Individual Retirement Account (IRA), up to $100,000 annually. You avoid income taxes that would ordinarily incur with normal distribution.
The transfer must be made directly from your IRA to the “Museum at Eldridge Street” through your IRA administrator or you may write a check from your IRA checkbook.
1887 SOCIETY
Members of the Museum’s 1887 Society are caring people who are interested in preserving Jewish heritage through bequests, life insurance, charitable remainder trust gifts, or charitable lead trust gifts. 1887 Society gifts play a vital role in the Museum’s future.
An outright bequest to the Museum is fully tax-deductible for estate-tax purposes.
